I was speaking with the Township Clerk and she advised that a company named "Power Home Remodeling" has been approved to solicit in Berkeley Township.
I would like to remind all the residents of the senior communities that soliciting is restricted to hours of 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. If residents would like to prohibit solicitors at their doors (no matter the time of day) they can apply and be added to the no solicitor list maintained by the Township. Once you are on the list the Township Clerk will send you a sticker for your front door that indicates you are on the "no solicitor" list.
FYI: When each company applies for a permit to solicit and are approved, they recieve a list of addresses (just addresses) that are on the "No Solicitation List". This should prevent solicitors from knocking on your door.

This is a service that is provided by the Berkeley Township Police Department, administered by the Township Clerk and the service is free to residents.
